About Scarlet Rose
When we obtained Scarlet Rose in 1998 she was a rusted shell rescued from a paddock in Darlington Point NSW.
There was no engine, transmission, drive axle, windows or interior.
Through skill and dedication, we’ve brought Scarlet Rose back to life.
This is is a 1954 Ansair Flxible clipper built by Ansair Pty. Ltd. Melbourne VIC, the 36th of 131 clippers built in Australia.
We celebrated her 70th birthday in 2024. This clipper was a part of a fleet used Australia-wide as touring and express coaches during the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s by Pioneer and other operators.
